Terms & Conditions
The agreement between you and Carryon. Written plainly, because terms you can't read aren't terms you can trust.
Last updated 23 July 2026.
These Terms govern your access to and use of Carryon, the website at https://carryon.world, the Carryon application at https://app.carryon.world, and the features and services offered through them (together, the “Service”), provided by MVSK Pty Ltd (ABN 65 657 009 768) of 55 Clarence Street, Sydney, NSW 2000, Australia (“Carryon”, “we”, “us”). By requesting access or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement.
1. Eligibility & accounts
Accounts are created at https://carryon.world/join. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. You agree to provide accurate information when you register and to keep it current. We may decline or close an account at our discretion, for example where these Terms have been breached.
CarryOn is currently in early access and is provided free of charge. We may introduce a paid subscription in future; if we do, we will tell you before any charge is made, and you will not be billed without agreeing to it first. No payment details are collected for the account itself.
2. Your account & security
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your credentials and devices secure. Tell us promptly at contact@carryon.world if you suspect unauthorised use.
Phone verification & two-factor authentication. You may sign in with your phone number and enable two-factor authentication. Where you do, you agree to receive one-time verification codes from us by SMS or WhatsApp at the number you provide, and you confirm you are authorised to receive messages at that number. These are transactional security messages, not marketing. Message frequency depends on your activity, and your carrier’s standard message and data rates may apply. Codes are time-limited and must not be shared with anyone; we will never ask you for a code. You may also enable device biometric unlock, which secures your existing session on that device and is not a substitute for your account credentials.
3. Membership fees & billing
Membership is billed through our payment processor, Stripe, as described at the point of purchase. Where a subscription applies, it renews automatically for successive periods until cancelled, and any free trial converts to a paid term unless you cancel before it ends. Prices, tiers and inclusions may change; we will give reasonable notice before a change affects you. Except where required by law, membership fees are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period.
4. eSIM data purchases
Carryon lets you buy prepaid mobile-data eSIM plans, which are provisioned by our connectivity partner (Airalo) and charged as one-time purchases through Stripe. eSIMs require a compatible, carrier-unlocked device; it is your responsibility to confirm compatibility before purchasing. Coverage, speeds and network availability depend on the partner and local operators and are not guaranteed. Because an eSIM is a digital good that is delivered and usable as soon as its activation details (QR code / installation profile) are revealed, eSIM purchases are non-refundable once provisioned, except where required by law or where a plan could not be delivered. Your use of an eSIM is also subject to the partner’s own terms and fair-use policies.
5. Connected accounts & travel programs
The Service can connect to third-party accounts and programs at your direction — for example, your email inbox (via Google or Microsoft sign-in) to detect and import booking confirmations, and your airline, hotel and other loyalty programs. When you connect an account you authorise Carryon to access the relevant data solely to provide the Service to you, and you confirm you are entitled to grant that access. You can disconnect an account at any time. Your use of those third parties remains governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
6. Your content & documents
You may add itineraries, notes, companions, and travel documents — including sensitive items such as passport details — to the Service. You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, encrypt, process and display it for the sole purpose of operating the Service for you and those you explicitly share a trip with. You are responsible for the accuracy of your content and for having the right to provide it, including any details of travel companions or dependants you add. Sensitive documents are encrypted and are never shared with other members except as you direct, and certain categories (such as passports and visas) are excluded from trip sharing by default. Handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. AI-assisted & informational features
Carryon surfaces award availability, fares, loyalty balances, airport and lounge information, visa and entry guidance, flight details, and recommendations — some generated with the help of automated and AI-driven tools. This information is drawn from many sources, changes constantly, and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. It is provided for your convenience only and is not professional, immigration, legal, financial or medical advice. You must verify anything important — especially visa, entry and travel-document requirements — with the airline, provider or relevant official authority before you rely on it.
8. Travel information & no guarantee
Carryon is a travel-intelligence and planning tool. Except for the digital goods we sell directly (such as eSIM plans), Carryon is not the provider of any flight, hotel, lounge, insurance or other travel service, and does not make bookings on your behalf. We do not guarantee availability, pricing, upgrades or outcomes. Bookings, tickets, lounge access and loyalty benefits remain subject to the terms of their respective providers and programs.
9. Acceptable use
- Do not misuse, disrupt or attempt to break the Service.
- Do not access it through automated means without permission.
- Do not resell or share your membership or access.
- Do not upload content you have no right to, or another person’s data without a lawful basis to do so.
- Do not use the Service unlawfully or to infringe others’ rights.
10. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, software and content, is owned by Carryon and its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable right to use it for your own travel. Third-party names, marks and programs referenced in the Service belong to their respective owners.
11. Third-party services
The Service relies on and connects to third parties — including payment processing, connectivity, messaging, mapping and analytics providers, and the travel programs you connect. We are not responsible for those services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms. A list of key processors is in our Privacy Policy.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law; where such a right applies and can be limited, our liability is limited to resupplying the relevant service or paying the cost of doing so.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Carryon will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for any lost travel, points, bookings or opportunity. Subject to section 12, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the fees you paid to Carryon in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
14. Termination
You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or end your access if these Terms are breached, if required by law, or to protect the Service and its members. On termination your right to use the Service ends; you can request a copy or deletion of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you and Carryon submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. Nothing in this section limits consumer-protection rights available to you where you live.
16. Changes
We may update these Terms. Where changes are material, we will give notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
